Crystal Ford holds two bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Management. She also obtained a Master’s Degree in Project Management in 2010. Ford’s professional background started in the field of organizational training and development and recruiting. Over the past twelve years, Crystal Ford has been employed with Kaplan University in Cedar Falls. She served as the Director of Career Services for nine years and was promoted to Director of Campus Operations in 2014. As the Director of Campus Operations, Crystal’s runs all of the daily operations for the university. Ms. Ford was appointment by Iowa’s governor to serve on the Iowa College Student Aid Commission in 2009 and was re-appointed in 2013. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board. Crystal was selected to receive the Waterloo Courier’s 20 Under 40 award in 2009. Crystal serves as the Board President for the Visiting Nurses Association and serves on committees for the American Heart Association, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the Cedar Valley Society for Human Resource Managers to name a few. Crystal Ford resided in Cedar Falls with her 4 year old son, Hayes. They both enjoy golfing, hiking, and recycling.
